Live view
The Live view is the fun one. It’s a full-screen, real-time picture of everyone on your site right now: where they are in the world, what they’re doing, and what they’re buying.
Opening it
The header always shows a live-visitor pill, a count next to the word Live. Click it to open the Live view.
To watch all your sites at once, click the globe at the top of the site rail on the far left.
The globe
The centerpiece is a slowly spinning globe with a dot for each active visitor, placed at their real city, not a country blob. Hover a dot to see who it is.
Locations come from each visitor’s IP, resolved on your collector. If everyone clusters in one city, your real visitor IP probably isn’t reaching Snow. See Forwarding the visitor IP.
On a phone, a List / Globe switch lets you flip between the map and the visitor list.
The live visitor list
Down the side is a list of active visitors, newest first. Each row shows:
- Who: the person’s name if they’ve been identified, otherwise an anonymous visitor.
- Where: country and city.
- Source: the channel that brought them, with the source’s favicon.
- Current page: the page they’re on this moment.
Empty list? You’ll see “No active visitors right now”: nobody has pinged your site in the last few minutes.
The activity feed
The activity ticker streams the latest things happening across your site, interleaving three kinds of event:

Visitors who haven’t been identified show up as “A customer.” Click the eye icon on any row to open that person’s full profile and journey.
Facet filters
A bar of chips lets you narrow both the list and the globe at once, grouped into:
- Places: filter to one country.
- Sources: filter to one channel (Direct, a referrer, a campaign…).
- Devices: filter to desktop, mobile, or tablet.
Pick “United States” under Places and the globe and list instantly show only US visitors. Pick again to clear.
The header pills
Two numbers sit at the top of the Live view:
- Live count: how many people are active right now.
- Revenue pill: an
↗arrow and an amount labelled 24h: the revenue you captured in the last 24 hours (in your dominant currency). It only appears once money has come in and you’ve connected Stripe.
The last 30 minutes
Above the list, a small sparkbar reads “N people in the last 30m”, a minute-by-minute count of unique visitors over the past half hour. It’s the quickest way to see whether things are picking up or quieting down.
The Live view works in both privacy modes. In cookieless mode, real-time visitors are still counted (the collector recognizes them for the day), you just won’t carry their identity across days.
