Your DashboardActivity heatmap

Activity heatmap

The Heatmap tab shows when your audience is active. It’s the answer to “what’s the best time to ship an announcement, send an email, or take the site down for maintenance?”

This is a time-of-activity heatmap: busy days and hours. It is not a click or scroll heatmap of where people tap on a page. Think “Tuesday at 2pm is our busiest hour,” not “this button gets the most clicks.”

Two views

The tab shows two cards side by side, each with its own ‹ › navigator so you can step back through history independently of the dashboard’s date range.

Weekly rhythm

By day & local time: a grid of the seven days (Mon–Sun) against the hours of the day. Darker cells are busier. This is where you spot patterns like “weekday mornings” or “Sunday evenings.”

If a week has no traffic you’ll see “No visits this week. Step back with the arrows to a week with traffic.”

Monthly calendar

Day by day: a calendar where each date is shaded by how busy it was. Great for seeing the shape of a month: launch spikes, weekend dips, a steady climb.

Visitors or views

A Visitors / Views toggle (shared by both cards, and remembered between visits) switches what the shading measures:

  • Visitors: unique people active in each slot.
  • Views: total page views in each slot.

The takeaway

Each card surfaces a one-line insight and a legend running from Quiet to Busy, with a ⚡ Busiest callout marking the peak, for example “You got the most visitors Tuesday around 2–3pm.” Use it to time the things that depend on attention.

Times are shown in your site’s report time zone, so “busiest hour” means busiest for you, not UTC.
